This Holy Thursday if I am home, it would have been a big difference. There won’t be meat eating since the Lent started or maybe frying of anything or doing something when the clock strikes 3 0′clock tomorrow, Friday. It would still be the same if my husband practices what we normally do, but as I’ve said, time changed. So as the things I used to do. We hope to be in church on Easter Sunday.

With the idea of giving kids a hippo bank it made me realized how important savings even a little is. We wouldn’t know just when we need money so putting away a little goes an extra mile. We hope to fill the hippos with every cents we find in the house. I am sure there is not much but we will build in time, hopefully.

Clipix enables us to organize our stuff online. If you like multiple websites, they can be grouped according to category. I just started using it and I am loving it so far. I get to group areas of interest and I know it would make things easier now. Here is what I’ve done to my clipix board,

As a member of a society where health plays a vital role, we are made aware of what is healthy and what is not. Unlike the life back home, we could just keep eating what is available, and sometimes even skip meals when the resources are not available. Though I know my family eats healthily as per fresh fruits, vegetables and fish are the main foods there, they still lack knowledge on which other products to consume that are good for their health.

I remember when I was growing up and the baby in the family was my 4th brother, sixth member of the family. My mother was unable to breastfeed since he was only 2 months old and depended on formula milk until he was able to eat solid foods. After that, when he turned just a year old my parents thought maybe they could then give him condensed milk. I thought it was not right before, but it was way cheaper than a tin of formula milk.It was such a big relief on my father’s budget. It is only now that I realized that we instead put my little brother’s health at risk. He is now 14 and hopefully he will grow old healthy. He was a chunky baby and was never seriously ill, thanks be to God.

Thinking about it compared to what I am doing and how I raised my daughters, that as long as I can control, I will not give them sugar in their food. I also control any sweets or give them nothing even if they begged. I also breastfed until they were both 18 months old, hopefully I did my best on that. Also, I wish them all the best in their health.

Online back up is more convenient as we do not rely on a physical storage. We can have access to our files anytime, anywhere if we have access to the internet. Well, almost everywhere we go is internet enabled via wifi or 3G with our Smartphone and slim computers. The good days are coming as the technology is getting more advance. These high-tech gadgets have now overridden most of our tasks and I feel for myself because I cannot easily afford them.

I hope you now have an idea where to go for a back up. Trust me; even those photos that you have downloaded somewhere are safer than physically having them on hand. I have experienced deleting a special photo, lucky enough I still retrieved it as I have registered online for printing. Just think of the consequences have it not stored online.

Who doesn’t want to earn extra?No matter how tight we are, we still are looking forward to saving some for the future, fingers cross we can do it.

There is also a suggestion that I could get help through mypcbackup. I think I will have to consider both because I am eyeing a bigger memory computer. However, as I said, virus could attack computers anytime, leaving our files vulnerable to becoming part of the history. I am used to burning photos into CDs but because of our little ones, some of them have scratches, damaging them and so are the photos. Printing is also not an option because of space. We are not homeowners yet and we are in a constant move.

We’ll see what works best this time. I am keeping my fingers cross to be safe from any viruses. I should be extra careful.

They also offer more discount if we purchased their own brand and photo finishing services. The annual membership is only $15 for a family and just $5 for individuals. In this country, even contraceptive pills are not the over the counter thing. You would have to consult a doctor for that before they could prescribe you something. If this is done quarterly, just think of the savings you are to make when we register with Walgreens. It is way different from the country I came from.
